At Avondale, anywhere between 50% and 60% of our children come from households of serving members of the UK Armed Forces. With this in mind, both Remembrance Day and Armed Forces Day have significant coverage for pupils, with many involved in performing. As a school, we are often invited to large scale events; we make regular use of armed forces facilities to support children in their learning and sporting development.
Our location near the Salisbury Plain and the garrisons of Bulford, Larkhill and Tidworth make us an ideal choice for families looking for an independent day school for their children in Wiltshire.
With wrap around care from 8am– 5:30pm for children as young as 2 years of age, we are able to support families who balance the demands of a busy job with family life. ALL service families receive 10% remission on school fees, once the Early Years Free Entitlement Funding is exhausted.
